Armstrong Swimming Pool Completed in 2008



The original Armstrong swimming pool was first opened in 1956. It served our commumity for 50 years. In recent years, it suffered from problems due to its age. The pool was inspected and found to be unsuitable for use. The community gathered together to build a new pool. We were determined to keep a pool in the community for our children for the next 50 years. The Armstrong Pool Committee together with the Armstrong Betterment Club (ABC) raised $300,000 toward this project. We want to thank all of you helped with fundraising and those who contributed by donating your hard-earned.
